Jandl Associates traces its roots back to the formation of McKenna, Jandl & Associates in 1976. In 1992, Richard Jandl co-founded a successor organization, Jandl Associates, Inc., in partnership with Richard Elliott and Richard Darveau.

Originally serving the career management needs of greater Boston and New England businesses, Jandl Associates now offers an array of career- and employment-related psychological testing services to businesses, their employees, and to private individuals and families.

Behavioral and vocational testing have been among the many services provided by Jandl Associates in our consulting and outplacement programs. Over time, we have seen a significant increase in the demand for such services as vital components of coaching and mentoring programs, and for pre-employment purposes. In recent years, business people who were pleased with our corporate testing services began asking if we could be retained privately to provide assessments for members of their families.

Richard Darveau, PhD is the principal of Jandl Associates and an experienced industrial psychologist. Dr. Darveau received his counseling degree from Boston College, and is licensed to administer numerous psychological assessments. He played a key role in the establishment of a research relationship between Jandl Associates and the Boston College Center on Work and Family, and is a co-founder of the Boston Chapter of an international career management association.
